This crime trilogy follows Eddie Dunford (Andrew Garfield), a journalist for the Yorkshire
press, who is assigned to the case of a missing girl, along with the Yorkshire police
department, Eddie finds himself involved in what seems to be a spate of brutal murders in
a series of similar investigations in 1974, 1980 and 1983, spanning the eras of the
IRA bombings, the Yorkshire Ripper, Thatcher's reign and the Falklands war.
